Winter Training Program

With the 2021 season all wrapped up, it is time to look forward to 2022!

To ensure that we stay fit and ready for footy over the winter Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Adrian Nizzero has curated a custom fitness plan for the Calgary Kookaburras. The first month is all about getting back into the gym, and is perfect for those who are just starting out or looking to get back in the swing of things. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Adrian directly through his Instagram page @adriancscs, but you’ll find everything you need to get started right here. The tracking sheet can be viewed on a laptop, phone, or printed off so you can bring it with you to the gym.

These workouts are geared to improve your fitness, whatever that might be - so join in! Free to join, the program just requires standard gear: barbell, plates, dumbbells, bench, pull-up bar, etc., everything you can find in a basic gym. All fitness levels are welcome.

Adrian Nizzero is a certified strength and conditioning specialist as well as a functional range conditioning mobility specialist with a bachelor's in Kinesiology and a master's in Human Kinetics, specializing in Biomechanics.
